Back home
So, we just went walking with mom to see some handcrafts. It was nice to see all those people looking around, among lamps, necklaces, puppets, all sorts of jewelry made out of the most incredible materials. It was amazing, there was this woman who had sewn beautiful belts and bracelets out of seeds, she had also carved different kids of woods and fruits to create butterflies, leaves, drangonlies, and all sorts of tiny little things. All those puppets would work amazingly in therapy or just for fun with my little ones. Sooo cheap. Then there was these gorgeous palm tree baby straight from the seed (a whole coconut) and some pretty wonderful knits and indian fabrics. It was just to die for. Wow.
Last midnight caught me playing parchese. I know it sounds silly, right. But it was actually tons of fun and I came out with 100 pesos profit
My two good friends Ernesto and Manga are really going through with their wedding and seem to be more and more in love each time I see them. As i was playing with them, Manga was trying to teach me how to play the game right, and Ernesto was pushing to get me to play yet another round. We played til 4 am, and I came home pretty tired and sore in my belly from so much laughing. I’ll definitely do it again.
People are happy lately, as far as i can tell. That’s weird, good weird.
